APRIL 13TH - 17th (Easter Holiday)
This is a new site for our club and is situated 3 miles from the centre of Weston Super Mare and junction 21 of the M5 motorway. You will find a warm welcome at this site and it offers an ideal location for a relaxing and tranquil holiday. This quiet park is set in 15 acres of land which offers a dry well drained level site in a country setting. It has modern clean facilities. There is a pub which offers good food and drink only a 15 minute stroll away. Available on site is a toilet block with free hot showers, fully equipped laundry, tarmac roads and street lighting and parking alongside unit. Hard standings are available. The site also has wi-fi throughout and disabled facilities.
Route: From Swindon take the M4 west and then M5 South towards Exeter. At junction 21 follow signs for the International Helicopter Museum. Turn right into Laneys Drove at the new roundabout immediately after the Helicopter Museum and follow signs for West End Farm. Look for SCCC signs.
Rally Fee: £22.50 per night including electric - £20.50 per night without electricity.

APRIL 27-02 MAY. (MAY BANK HOLIDAY) - CANCELLED due to lack of interest
This is a new site for us which straddles the Dorset / Devon border. It is 3 miles from Charmouth and the historic harbour town of Lyme Regis
which is the centre of the World Heritage Jurassic Coastline. There is an on site shop. The rally field is level and flat. There is a 2 minute walk from the rally field to the toilet block. The site is clean and well run. See web site www.monktonwyld.co.uk
Route: From A303 exit at Ilminster and take the A358 to Chard / Axminster. From Axminster take the A35 east towards Charmouth.
After approx 2 miles, pass the Hunters Lodge Pub on your right, another mile then cross the county border from Devon into Dorset and immediately turn left, signposted with a brown tourism leisure sign. Monkton Wyld site is 300mtrs on your left signposted Marshwood.
WARNING. Access to the site is excellent however the holiday park is about 1 mile west of Monkton Wyld. Do not take the road to Monkton Wyld as this is narrow and very steep and not suitable for towing vehicles. PLEASE IGNORE ANY SIGNPOSTS TO THE VILLAGE OF MONKTON WYLD. Look for SCCC signs.

MAY 18 – 22
We return to this popular level grass site in the beautiful Hampshire countryside and it’s just a 10 minute walk away from the quaint Georgian town of Alresford. On Sunday the main street is closed to allow the Watercress Festival to take place, including a carnival style procession with various stalls. There are plenty of interesting places to visit in the area, such as the famous Watercress Steam Railway, Winchester, Alton, Petersfield with Southampton and Portsmouth only a 30 minute drive away. Own sanitation required.
Route: From M4 Jct 13 take the A34 to Winchester/Southampton. At the island over the M3 take A272 then A31 signposted Alton/ Petersfield. In 5 miles at a roundabout take the B3047 to Alresford. Look for SCCC Signs
Book early to avoid disappointment as this is a popular site and venue. Bookings to be received by April 18th with full payment, after this date check with Rally Officer,

This is a popular site for many with excellent shower and toilet facilities. It also has an indoor swimming pool, snooker room, games room and a bar with entertainment. There are lots more facilities to enjoy during your stay. For more information look on their web site,www.stowford.co.uk
Route: Take M5 to Jct 27, then A361 to Barnstable. In Barnstable follow the signs for the hospital taking A39 towards Lynton. In approx 1 mile after hospital turn left onto B3230 SP Ilfracombe. At the X roads turn right onto A3123 SP Stowford Farm Meadows. The site is approx 1.5 miles on the right. Look for SCCC signs. Website address: stowford.co.uk

JUNE 9th – 11th
By request we return to this site. The level grass field is set among willow trees and situated on the edge of the river Thames for pleasant walks or just relax. Faringdon, Clanfield and Witney are all close by.
Route: From Faringdon take the A4095 towards Witney. Over the bridge passing the Swan Inn public house road bears left over bridge, take first entrance on right. Pass through barrier and bear left Look for SCCC signs.
Rally Fee: £8.00 per night. No Electric. Own sanitation required

JUNE 29 – 03 JULY - CANCELLED due to lack of interest
This is a new site for us and it is a small family run campsite in the beautiful Frome valley. The river Frome is on one side next to the medieval buildings of Stowford Farm. The river is suitable for fishing, boating, swimming and paddling. The farm has a range of interests from the traditional Jersey milking cows to a community of workshops used by local craftsmen. The site is only a 5 minute drive from the historic town of Bradford-on-Avon and a 15 minute drive from the Georgian City of Bath. Longleat House and Safari Park is nearby, there is also a gentle riverside stroll to the medieval Farleigh Castle. A perfect base for country walks and cycling along the bank of the Kennet and Avon Canal. There is a farm shop and a tea room. We will be on the rally field without electric. Own sanitation required.

JULY 13 -17
Again time to book your pitches at the end of the runway. All those that have attended before will be aware of the great views of the aircraft from the rally field. This is said to be the largest Air Tattoo in the world. More than 60 plus units attended in 2016. In 2017 it is the 100 yr anniversary of the RAF so it should be good. Book early to avoid disappointment. Own sanitation required. Arrival is available from 12.00pm on Thursday. Don’t miss out, book your place today!
Route: From Lechlade take A417 Cirencester Road. Turn left at the Shell garage. SP Whelford. Once in the village turn sharp left into Townsend Farm. Look for SCCC signs. NO ARRIVALS SATURDAY Post Code GL7 4DY

JULY 29 – 12 AUGUST
This is another new site for us this year. It is a lovely small site close to Budleigh Salterton which has an old fashioned village atmosphere and pebble beach. Exmouth, with miles of sandy beaches and usual seaside attractions is only 4 miles away Facilities include a small toilet/shower block and a great play area for children in the woods. Next to the site is an "off-road" cycle path to Exmouth.
Route: From Swindon take the M4 then M5 to Jct30, take the A376 Exmouth road. At Clyst St George turn left onto A3179, turn right
onto A3180/A3179 towards Budleigh Salterton. Turn left into Knowle village on B3178, go past pub and hall, at top of hill turn left into Bear Lane. Go over the railway bridge and left into site. Look for SCCC signs

SUMMERLANDS CARAVAN PARK COOMBE BISSETT Post Code SP5 4LP
This site is a quiet family run site, and affords peace and tranquillity with the added bonus of superb panoramic views. The park is situated within Cranborne Chase a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is approx 15 minutes drive from Salisbury. This site is ideal for walkers and cyclists. Places to visit within a 10 mile radius are Salisbury City and Cathedral, Wilton House, The New Forest, Rockbourne Roman Villa, Braemore House and Museum. Own sanitation required.
Route: From Salisbury. On the A354 leaving Coombe Bissett church on your left, look out in 1.5 miles for Summerlands Caravan Park/ College Farm sign. Fork left at signpost for Rockbourne and the “Roman Villa”. After 300 yds turn left at Summerlands Caravan Park College Farm sign. The site is ¾ mile down the track, follow the brown and white caravan signs. Look for SCCC signs. NO ARRIVALS BEFORE 3pm Friday THIS IS DUE TO THE RALLY FIELD BEING USED PRIOR TO OUR RALLY COMMENCING. Post Code SP25 4LP

SEPTEMBER 02 - 23
LIMITED 30 UNITS
We have booked this site again for 2017. Lots of things to do and see in the area. It is peaceful with lovely views. The local pub is a traditional inn serving excellent food and only a 50 metres stagger away. Places to visit are Minehead, Ilfracombe and Clovelly. This site has good reviews on Trip Advisor.
Route: From Swindon take the M4 west, then M5 south to Jct 27. Take the A361 SP Barnstaple. In 35 miles at Lake roundabout, take second exit staying on A361 over River Taw flyover. At traffic lights turn left and follow the A361 to Braunton. Follow A361 through Braunton town centre and in approx. 5 miles at Mullacott Cross roundabout take first exit onto B3343 SP Woolacombe. In just over 1 1/2 miles turn right into Bay View Farmers. Look for SCCC signs. Postcode EX34 7HG.

We revisit this site again after a short break. Lots of things to do in the area. There is a toilet / shower block. Fishing is also available on site, don’t forget any licenses or permits required. This weekend the Newbury Show is being held.
Route: From M4 Jct 13 take A34 south then A399 through Newbury. Approx 2 miles after leaving Newbury turn right at roundabout SP Bishops Green. Site on the left in 3/4 mile just past Eagle Road. Look for SCCC signs. Post Code RG20 4JP

1st OCTOBER 2017 - SWINDON CARAVAN and CAMPING CLUB AGM - Swindon Coleview Community Centre
AGM Meeting Rearranged - as Cotswold Holbourne are now developing the touring field for static caravans.
The Annual General Meeting will not be a rally but will take place on Sunday 1st October at the Coleview Community Centre at 10:30 hours and finish at 12:30. Coffee, Tea and soft Drinks will be available for the meeting. There is parking at the centre.

SEPTEMBER 29 - 01 OCTOBER - CANCELLED
This is a full facility site with heated indoor and outdoor swimming pools, tennis courts, bar, children’s play areas etc etc. The AGM will be on the Sunday morning with Tea, Coffee, soft drinks and biscuits provided. This is a 3 night rally so you can stay as long as you want after the AGM but must leave by 12 noon on the Monday. Dogs are allowed on site now but must be kept on leads or tethered at all times.
Route. From Swindon take A419 towards Cirencester. Turn Left onto B4696, Spine Road Turn right onto Broadway Lane (signposted South Cerney).
Site on Left. Look for SCCC and Cotswold Hoburne signs.
Rally Fee: £ TBA for "a 3 night" weekend. This is inclusive of all facilities
